THE ROXY
LA’s Roxy Theatre is a rock ‘n’ roll icon. Opening in September 1973 with a three night residency by Neil Young, this Sunset Strip venue was the venue for the concert scenes in Ramone’s Rock ‘n’ Roll High School (1978) and the original live performances of The Rocky Horrow Show in 1974. Notable albums recorded here include releases by Linda Ronstadt, Patti Smith and Warren Zevon, plus 9 tracks from Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band’s Live/1975-1985 release.
